The Lord let his face shine upon you, and be gracious to you!
The Lord look upon you kindly and give you peace!”

This is the blessing that came right from the mouth of God for the Old Testament priests to use for the people. This blessing was God’s idea. This is His desire for you and me…to bless and keep us, to let His face shine on us, to be gracious to us, to look on us kindly and to give us peace. How comforting! This is a blessing we can claim, speak over one another and hear Jesus, our great high priest, speak over us.
This is God’s heart for you.
